Ouch... piture coming soon.
Miss C had her circus school end-of-year show last Saturday morning. She chose stilts as her showcase of talent. Sadly, she was too close to the other kids at the end of the act. The ending required the kids all fall forward. Well, she fell last and hit her face on the tip of the other kid's stilt.
She was oh, so very lucky. She bruised her cheek, but not her teeth, nose or eye.
Speaking of teeth, the toothfairy still hasn't shown up... the 'cat pulling the tooth out' trick left the tooth lost somewhere in the house :( So no tooth under the pillow, no toothfairy visit.

Karate competition?
Hum, nope. We didn't go. The b/f thought it was too early in the am. Why, oh why did I listen to him. I feel guilty. The boy was upset. I'm upset. But sheesh, I wanted to rest and relax. And those darn comps are $$$. Gotta get over it.

Dehydrator experiment #1 - Bacon jerky
So I'm digging the food dehydrator, so I wanna see what I can dry up and how I can improve some of he food. Last night I put half a pound of bacon in the dehydrator. After 14 hours the meat part is dry enough, but the fat part is still soft. I had to stop the dehydrator because I was cooking so I'll have to start it again to see how far I can take this bacon.
